Offered here is an attractive vintage German-made 4/4 full-size violin featuring a warm amber-brown finish, nicely figured flamed maple back and sides, and plenty of genuine vintage character.

The violin measures approximately 14 inches across the back/body length, confirming it as a standard 4/4 full-size instrument.

Inside the violin is a partially preserved paper label. The maker's portion is faded/incomplete, but “Made in Germany” remains clearly visible.

An interesting star/rosette-style stamped emblem is present on the button at the base of the neck. We have not been able to positively identify this mark with a particular maker or workshop, so it is being described exactly as found rather than attributed to a specific manufacturer.

The violin features an attractive two-piece flamed maple back, figured sides, traditional carved scroll, dark fingerboard and fittings, and four fine tuners.

This is a genuinely used vintage instrument and shows considerable age-appropriate cosmetic wear, including scratches, small dings, finish wear, edge wear, marks and patina throughout. These signs of use give the violin considerable character. Please review all photographs carefully, as they are an important part of the condition description.

The violin is currently strung and set up as photographed. It has not been professionally evaluated or authenticated by a violin specialist, so the exact maker, age and originality of individual components are unknown.
