Up for sale is a near-mint Blackstar St. James 50 EL34 50-Watt Tube Amp Head.
I purchased this head brand new in 2023 specifically to serve as a reliable backup rig for live shows. Luckily, my main rig never failed, so this head never saw a single stage gig! It spent its entire life safely stored in my smoke-free studio, being played only during 3 or 4 rehearsal sessions.
It is in immaculate cosmetic and working condition—clean tolex, untouched control panel, and flawless operation across all channels and power modes.
WHY THE ST. JAMES EL34?
The St. James series is renowned for being one of the lightest 50-watt 100% valve heads in the world without compromising on real EL34 power tube punch. Channel 1 delivers pristine, organic US/UK clean tones, while Channel 2 unleashes classic, rich EL34 British crunch and high-gain overdrive with an switchable Boost function.
It also features modern studio essentials like built-in power reduction down to 2W, USB audio connectivity, balanced XLR output, and Blackstar’s advanced CabRig DSP technology for silent recording or direct-to-FOH performance.
WHAT’S INCLUDED:
- Blackstar St. James 50 EL34 Amplifier Head
- Original Blackstar 2-button Footswitch with extra-long 13+ ft cable
- Heavy-duty 10 ft AC Power Cable
*Please note: The original box and printed manual are not included, but the head will be packed with professional-grade materials, foam padding, and maximum protection for safe transit.*
