This lovely guitar (some might call it an axe, but you do you) is an exceptionally rare Gretsch G6129T-1962 that was made in Japan in the year 2003. It came from the factory with the Bigbsy trem installed and is bone stock other than the black pickguard and pickup rings. The original silver parts are included with the guitar.
This guitar has no cracks, breaks, or finish issues. Only flaws are minor belt buckle rash on the back and a very few sundry dings. Frets have plenty of life left in them and electronics work as they should.
This guitar comes from the era RIGHT before Fender took over production of Gretsch. As such, it has a slightly wider/thinner neck profile than the newer Duo-Jet reissues (not shreddy wide, but notably taller shoulders) and these were chambered a little more conservatively, so it has a little more of a solidbody thwack to it. Guitar stays in tune well and the stock Filtertrons do the thing, but have a little more output to them than a true vintage-style Filtertron.
It will ship in its original fitted hardshell case and includes its factory check card and case key.
