Pan American alto sax, serial number and features indicate a 1947-ish 58M model. Playing great!
Pan American was Conn's second line, so some of the keywork and sound will be the same. Relacquered at some point in the past. Get a fully repadded vintage horn on the cheap!
September 2026 FULL service:
Disassemble + deep clean, straighten body tube, dent repair, replace all adjustment materials, recork neck, clean + polish + straighten rods, refit keywork, add teflon washers, level pad cups, full repad, level toneholes, relubricate, adjust timing.
