LP Custom elegance, playability, and brute strength
The Epiphone Limited Edition Les Paul Custom Pro sports classic LP Custom playability - which is to say, "effortless." Soon after it was introduced, players started referring to it as the "Fretless Wonder". It wasn't fretless, of course, but the guitar had ultra-low-profile frets in a bound ebony fingerboard, which allowed your fingers to fly over the fretboard. The Epiphone Limited Edition Les Paul Custom Pro sports modern medium jumbo frets that better suit today's playing styles, and warmer-sounding rosewood for the fingerboard - adding a whole new dimension the the legend that is the Les Paul Custom.

ProBuckers onboard
Epiphone's Limited Edition Les Paul Custom Pro is packing Epiphone ProBucker pickups, a 4-wire design with coil-tapping inspired by Gibson's legendary BurstBuckers. ProBuckers conjure the sound of the original hand-wound PAF humbuckers designed by Seth Lover at Gibson's Kalamazoo factory in the late 1950s. ProBuckers have all the same components under the hood as the original PAF and BurstBuckers, including Alnico II magnets, Elektrisola magnet wire, 18 percent nickel silver unit bases and covers, as well as pole screws, slugs, and bobbins built to original Gibson spec. You get a huge sounding pickup that is responsive to your pick attack, and that - over time - will develop the subtle, unique characteristics that you can only get from vintage humbuckers.

Coil tapping, for amazing tonal dexterity
The Epiphone Limited Edition Les Paul Custom Pro boasts coil tapping. This is a huge deal, because it means you can get chimey single-coil sounds out of your Les Paul. Jimmy Page has this feature built into his LP - and he used it to great advantage during Led Zeppelin's legendary live performances. So you know you're in good company when you venture out onstage with the Epiphone Limited Edition Les Paul Custom Pro!
