Up for sale is a stunning time capsule quality 1966 Slingerland No.130 Gene Krupa Sound King 5x14” snare drum. Featuring a highly desirable,smooth Chrome over brass shell and the iconic Niles IL black and brass oval badge serial no 118663. What sets this specific Sound King apart is its remarkable preservation. It still retains its original Slingerland branded drumheads and original Slingerland snare wires. I have personally owned and stored this drum for 50 plus years.. This drum is completely dialed in and ready to go straight onto the collectors shelf or into a high end recording studio.
