This Technics by Panasonic RS-631 Stereo Cassette Deck has been serviced, cleaned, and tested. During testing, the deck operated properly and produced clear, clean sound. The cassette transport functions were tested, and the illuminated left/right VU meters respond during playback. Please watch the included video to see the actual unit operating.
The RS-631 features large illuminated analog VU meters, Dolby Noise Reduction, adjustable bias and EQ settings, Memory Auto Play, Peak Check, separate Line In / Output / Mic level controls, F.G. Servo Motor, and Full Auto Stop.
Cosmetically, the unit is in very nice vintage condition overall, especially the brushed-aluminum faceplate and controls. The simulated wood cabinet also presents well, but there are normal signs of age and use, including some scratches, edge wear, small marks, and cabinet imperfections visible in the photos. Please carefully inspect all photos before purchasing, as they are an important part of the description and show the exact unit you will receive.
