For sale are my gently used pair of Focal Solo6 Be two-way studio monitors in excellent condition.

Purchased from The Music Room approximately three years ago, they have been used exclusively in my dedicated two-channel listening room. They have not been used in a commercial studio and have been well cared for.

This is the updated version of the original Solo6 Be. It uses Class AB amplification rather than the GaN amplifier platform found in the newest ST generation. This version also incorporates a tweeter-circuit refinement that can be identified by the metal cover over the tweeter—an external feature not found on the first-generation model.

The Solo6 Be is known for its detailed, revealing presentation, powerful low-frequency performance, and excellent imaging. In my 11-by-11-foot room, the front-firing port and room gain provided impressive bass weight, while the Beryllium tweeter delivered plenty of air, detail, and sparkle.

These monitors are especially effective at revealing recording quality. When a recording contains convincing depth, width, height, and instrument placement, the Solo6 Be makes those qualities immediately apparent. They are a great choice for someone looking to move up from entry-level monitors or for anyone wanting a highly capable nearfield setup at a significantly lower cost than buying the current version new.
