From the research we were able to do, including the pat. number, this appears to be a William L. Lang tenor banjo from the 1920's, perhaps a Style A model.
We don't know much about the history of this banjo, but it's very cool. The bridge may not be original. The mother of pearl backplate has some wear/damage to it.
