Selling my Boss Katana Artist Gen 3 100-watt head, including an XSONIC AIRSTEP Kat EX foot controller and 15-foot USB cable. Everything works perfectly and is in excellent condition. This is the Artist Gen 3, not the standard Katana head. It’s an extremely versatile 100W amp that works equally well at home, rehearsal, recording or on stage. The Katana has 60+ built-in BOSS effects available through Boss Tone Studio, including boosters/overdrives, modulation, EQ, pitch effects, delays, reverbs and more. You can run multiple effects simultaneously, deeply edit their parameters, save complete rigs as presets, and even change the effect order/signal chain in Tone Studio. It also has multiple amp characters, selectable power settings, an effects loop, USB recording, line out with cabinet simulation, headphone out and plenty of routing/options for integrating a pedalboard or running direct. The included AIRSTEP Kat EX makes the Katana much more useful live. It gives you five footswitches for changing channels/presets, turning individual effects on/off, changing effect types and controlling tap tempo. It also adds wireless editing from a phone or tablet using the Boss Tone Studio Gen 3 mobile app or Katana Librarian, without needing the Boss Bluetooth adapter. Basically, you can build a complete pedalboard-style rig inside the amp — choose your amp, drives, modulation, delays, reverbs and EQ, arrange the signal chain, save it, and then control it from the AIRSTEP.
