About the Workshop
This violin is handmade by luthier Mr Zhou, from beginning to the end. Mr Zhou is known for his careful selection of tonewood and his attention to detail in every stage of construction, from carving the plates to the final oil varnish finish. Each violin that leaves his bench reflects years of refined craftsmanship and a deep understanding of the traditional Stradivarius model.

About the Model
This is a Master II level violin, based on the classic Stradivarius pattern. All the wood used is European wood, aged more than 16 years, and the back is made from a single, selected piece — a mark of both the quality of the wood and the skill required to work with it. The one piece back was personally selected by the luthier for its outstanding grain and resonance. The tone is very good: warm, full and responsive, with the rich projection expected from a Master level instrument.
