1950 Fender Deluxe 5a3 TV Front Design

This is a 1950 Fender Deluxe 5A3, often called the  "TV Front" because of how the front paneling resembles an old TV. It has been serviced by our tech; he replaced parts where needed. In fully working condition now and sounds great. Cosmetically, it looks like a 70 year old tweed amp that has been well-loved.

Per our tech:

"Work Completed: chassis, fiberboard, and all components removed. fiberboard cleaned and circuit was entirely rebuilt to original spec. original cloth wire on the back of the board was removed and reused on the front, and the new wire used on the back to give the appearance of originality. Also new 18g cloth wire used from the output transformer connection as it would have originally. faceplate was delicately cleaned and polished to keep as much original silkscreen as possible. tested all tubes and found only the phase inverter 6sc7 to be healthy/functional. new tubes installed as well as silicone dampers to keep microphonic vibration to a minimum. The only modification retained was the jack to the left of the speaker jack which is a recording output, as the hole was already drilled and this is useful. NOS fuseholder installed and power switch relocated to the tone pot as original. amp tested and sounds good. (note:if more clean headroom is desired, the 5Y3 rectifier tube can be replaced with a GZ34 with no other modifications needed)."
