Reducing the footprint of my studio and selling some gear. This is the Wunder Audio CM7, number 239.
Mike Castoro built the CM7 in Austin as a long-body U47. Berlin-style M7, the large transformer from the earliest U47s, and a tube standing in for the VF14. Cardioid and omni, switched the way a 47 is switched. The badge on this one says CM7. It is not the nine-pattern CM7 GS.
Number 239, made in Austin. Full kit: the microphone, the oak box, the historical shockmount, the power supply, the cable, and the tweed flight case. Smoke-free studio. It works. Famous for a reason.
