Beautiful vintage Electro-Voice RE20 in exceptionally clean condition with only light signs of use. Fully tested and functioning properly. Includes EV microphone mount and vintage fitted Electro-Voice hard case.
This microphone came from the personal equipment of longtime Minnesota radio personality Steve Winters (Stephen Voegeli). Winters was an original staff member of Minneapolis’ KOOL 108 (KQQL) when the station launched its oldies format in 1988 and later hosted morning radio at KOOL 108 and Power 96.
The RE20 has been a broadcast-industry standard for decades and remains highly regarded for voice, vocals, kick drum, bass cabinet and studio recording.
The microphone is remarkably clean for its age. The internal suspension/foam remains stable with no loose internal rattle.
Includes the vintage Electro-Voice fitted hard case and EV microphone mount shown.
Excellent vintage example with documented connection to Minnesota radio personality Steve Winters.
