I recently purchased this Gremlin in January of 2026. Great 5 Watt amp. I swapped the factory V1 pre-amp tube (12AX7) with a 12AT7 to get a little bit more headroom in both channels but especially to give the lead channel a little more usability for my taste. I usually use the rhythm channel and changing this V1 tube didn't diminish the tone in the least. I'm shipping the original 12AX7 tube with the amp so you can put it back in to the V1 location should you choose to. They amp is pristine and the only reason I'm selling it is to put the money towards a Princeton Reverb (65 PRRI), which I've been wanting for a long time. The tones are very satisfying in this amp and the built in Ironman II attenuator located on the rear panel allows you to play whatever tone you prefer at any volume you decide, from full on and 35db down from there.
