Inspired Acoustics INSPIRATA Music Pro Roompack 1 8 Spaces (Card)

Music Pro Roompack 1 adds EIGHT MUSIC PURPOSE SPACES to INSPIRATA, Inspired Acoustics' measurement based reverb workstation.

INSPIRATA is not a normal convolution reverb and that is why its room library matters more than most. It does not give you a fixed impulse response of a room, it gives you the ROOM: you place your sound sources and the virtual microphone anywhere inside a real measured space and listen from where you choose. Every space you add is therefore a place you can move around in, not a preset.

The rooms are captured with acoustic measurement data in unprecedented spatial detail, which is what allows that movement to work without artefacts.

THESE ARE CURATED SELECTIONS, NOT LEFTOVERS. Inspired Acoustics maintain a large and growing Roompack Extension collection, and the themed packs like this one are chosen out of it and sold as perpetual licences for people who want a specific kind of space rather than a subscription to everything.

WHAT IS ACTUALLY IN IT, from Inspired Acoustics' own room list: the MAIN HALL OF THE BUDAPEST MUSIC CENTER, a concert hall with spacious but controlled acoustics used for classical and jazz; the MAIN SCORING STAGE AT PANNONIA STUDIO in Budapest, captured with the microphones at an overhead height of about 3.5 metres, which has a short reverberation time but stays airy rather than dry; the LIVE ROOM AT SUPERSIZE RECORDING STUDIO and its control and isolation spaces; and the library at the Budapest Music Center.

That mix is the point. A scoring stage, a concert hall and a working studio live room cover most of what music production actually needs, and the control and isolation rooms are there for the tighter, closer sounds.

INSPIRATA ships with its own default library of 50 spaces holding over 500,000 impulse responses, so this extends an already large collection rather than filling a gap.

One practical note: INSPIRATA's room libraries are large. The default full Roompack alone is around 210 GB. Check your storage before adding to it.

Format: This is a brand new, unregistered activation card with printed instructions. Redeem the code with the manufacturer, download the software, and the licence is yours to keep.

Please note: THIS IS AN ADD-ON FOR INSPIRATA AND WILL NOT DO ANYTHING ON ITS OWN. It is a room library for the INSPIRATA reverb workstation, so you need INSPIRATA installed and licensed. We list INSPIRATA Professional at $199 and INSPIRATA Immersive at $1,999 separately. If you do not own INSPIRATA, buy one of those first.

Please note: THIS IS THE PERPETUAL PACK, NOT THE SUBSCRIPTION. Inspired Acoustics also sell an INSPIRATA Roompack Extension at about $99 a year, which is an annual subscription covering their whole growing room collection. This card is not that. It is a fixed, curated selection of rooms, bought once and kept.

Key Features

• Add-on for INSPIRATA, not standalone - you need INSPIRATA installed and licensed. We list Professional at $199 and Immersive at $1,999 separately
• Eight music purpose spaces - the Budapest Music Center main hall, the Pannonia Studio main scoring stage, the Supersize Recording Studio live room plus its control and isolation spaces, and the BMC library
• Perpetual, not the annual subscription - Inspired Acoustics also sell a Roompack Extension subscription at about $99 a year covering their whole growing collection. This is not that
• Rooms you move around in - INSPIRATA lets you place and automate sources and the virtual microphone inside each measured space
• Measurement based capture - acoustic measurement data in unusual spatial detail, which is what makes the movement work without artefacts
• Curated from the Extension collection - chosen selections from Inspired Acoustics' growing room library
• Extends an already large library - INSPIRATA ships with 50 spaces and over 500,000 impulse responses of its own
• Perpetual Licence - bought once and yours to keep, not a subscription. The version you activate keeps working whether or not you ever renew anything

System Requirements

• Host required - INSPIRATA. This is a room library and does nothing without it
• Contents - eight music purpose spaces, verified against Inspired Acoustics' own published room list
• Licence - perpetual, not the annual Roompack Extension
• Disk space - INSPIRATA room libraries are large. The default full Roompack is around 210 GB, so plan storage before adding packs

• Internet connection - needed to redeem the code, download the installer and activate the licence
