Triaz is a drum engine built around one idea: TURN ONE SHOT DRUM SAMPLES INTO FINISHED PATTERNS, quickly. It ships with more than 15,000 curated drum samples and over 700 presets, so there is plenty to work with before you import anything of your own.

THE SEQUENCER IS POLYRHYTHMIC AND FAST. Each part can run at its own length, so patterns drift against each other and repeat on a longer cycle than any single lane, which is how you get grooves that stay interesting without programming every bar by hand.

PER STEP PARAMETER MODULATION is the feature that separates it from a straightforward step sequencer. Rather than a step being on or off at a fixed velocity, individual parameters can be modulated at each step, so pitch, filter, decay and the rest move through the pattern.

Sample layering is handled as a first class feature rather than an afterthought, so you can stack and blend hits to build a kick or a snare that is yours instead of one that came out of a library everyone else also owns.

There are dynamic mixing tools and intelligent randomisation throughout, the latter being for when you want the engine to suggest something you would not have programmed.

You can import and organise your own samples freely, and export your work as AUDIO OR MIDI, which matters: MIDI export means a pattern you built in Triaz can be moved to another instrument rather than being locked inside the plug-in.

It runs natively as AU, VST3 and AAX on both macOS and Windows.
