The Deering Rustic Wreath is a 5-string resonator banjo in walnut stained maple with the Deering -06- 20 hole bell bronze tone ring, handcrafted in Spring Valley, California. At about 11 lbs, it carries the traditional prewar styling of Deering's Golden Series at a much lower price. Brand new, available to pre-order. We are an authorized Deering dealer in Yellow Springs, Ohio.

The Pot
3-ply violin grade maple rim, 11 inches across, with the Deering -06- 20 hole bell bronze tone ring. 11 inch frosted medium crown head. Notched brass tension hoop with 24 round J-hooks and 1/4 inch hex nuts. Traditional style one piece zinc flange, Deering armrest, 5/8 inch Deering Smile bridge and Deering True Tone tailpiece. Nickel plated hardware.
The Neck
Quartersawn maple neck with a traditional U shape, dark walnut stain and a satin finish. A grade ebony fingerboard with the traditional prewar Golden Wreath inlay pattern in pearloid, repeated on the traditional shape peghead. 22 pressed in nickel silver frets. Ebony nut at 1 3/16 inch width. Deering planetary tuners and a Deering Gotoh geared 5th string tuner. 26 1/4 inch scale length.
The Resonator
Deep Golden Series resonator in 3-ply poplar, poplar and maple, dark walnut stain, satin finish, straight sidewalls and single white binding, 13 7/8 inches across. Overall length 38 inches.
