Schecter PT-7 MS Black Ops guitar in Satin Black Open Pore

Schecter PT-7 MS Black Ops Electric Guitar — Satin Black Open Pore

The PT-7 Multiscale Black Ops delivers a substantial, ergonomic playing experience built around modern extended-range demands. Its thin "C" neck profile and set-neck construction with Ultra Access keep hand fatigue minimal during extended sessions while enabling fluid navigation to the highest frets. The aggressive satin black open-pore finish and menacing aesthetic signal serious intent for progressive metal and modern heavy music.

Playability & Construction

A solid mahogany body with beveled flat top sits atop a 3-piece mahogany neck reinforced with carbon fiber rods, delivering exceptional stability and resistance to neck dive. The ebony fretboard with 24 X-Jumbo stainless steel frets and 16" radius provides a fast, modern playing surface suited to technical passages and aggressive riffing, while the thin "C" neck profile (20mm at the 1st fret, 22mm at the 12th) keeps hand fatigue minimal during extended sessions.

Tone & Electronics

The Fishman Fluence Open Core Modern-7 pickup offers two distinct voices via a 3-way toggle switch: a modern active high-output character and an organic passive-feel voice with tight lows and rich harmonics, giving genuine tonal flexibility from a single pickup design. The Hipshot 7-String Multiscale Fixed bridge maintains precise intonation across the extended scale, while master volume control keeps operation straightforward and responsive.
