I took pictures in the sunlight to clearly show the cosmetic condition of this guitar. The seller I bought this from, a shop, gave me a good deal but did not clearly indicate the cosmetic condition of this instrument. In all other respects, it is a very solid instrumet with no irregularities in the neck, truss rod or tuning machine operation. The prior owner what obviously not much into using the tremolo, so there is minimal-to-no wear there.

This Suhr Modern came to me with some Seymour Duncans in it. It has been returned to spec, with a SSH+ bridge, 63 middle and SSV neck pickup set and harness taken from a Basswood Suhr Modern that seemed too congested with that pickup combination. ( For what it is worth, Okoume is the only Suhr Modern bodywood that I have immediately liked the stock Shur pickups in. ) All Suhr pickups are nice, some are a bit bright sounding however. The SSH+ pickup has a very nice lower-mid growl to compllment the Okoume's higher-mid tones and the responsive elliptical neck—seems like it should fit very well in a mix.
