Who the BCLBQG-NK Q-Series Bb Clarinet Is For

The Backun BCLBQG-NK Q-Series is a Bb soprano clarinet designed to deliver a traditional French-style feel with modern control over response and intonation. It is well suited to advancing students, serious amateurs, and working musicians who want Backun design priorities in a grenadilla instrument with nickel-plated keywork, including consistent scale, stable mechanics, and a familiar acoustic concept.

Players who deal with moisture during long rehearsals will appreciate the inline trill keys, which are designed to help reduce condensation accumulation in the trill-key area. The carbon fibre joint ring is a modern durability-focused detail, while the undercut and overcut tone holes and poly-cylindrical bore are aimed at evenness of response across registers.
