AmpliTube 5 MAX is the COMPLETE version of IK Multimedia's guitar and bass rig software, with OVER 400 GEAR MODELS. The tiers below it are AmpliTube 5 Special Edition at 80 models and AmpliTube 5 at over 170, so MAX is the one that includes the signature and brand collections rather than making you buy them separately.

AmpliTube models gear component by component, so you build a rig the way you would in a room: pedals into an amp, into a cabinet, with microphones placed in front of it, and rack effects around it. Version 5 added over 130 new models of its own, including 5 amps, 2 stomps, 2 rooms, 23 rack effects and over 100 completely re-captured cabinets.

The cabinet section is the part players tend to notice. You can place and blend multiple microphones, and the VIR technology lets you use your own impulse responses in place of any cabinet.

The mixer is a genuine mixing desk rather than an afterthought: blend multiple cabs, mics and a DI signal together, with 23 mixing effects including some drawn from T-RackS to finish the track.

ToneNET, IK's free preset sharing community, is available to AmpliTube 5 users for finding and publishing rigs.
