Beautiful vintage Gibson A-style mandolin, believed to be a 1952 A-40N, featuring a natural amber finish, arched top and back, traditional F-holes, and classic Gibson craftsmanship.

The factory order number stamped inside the body appears to read Z1405 38, suggesting a 1952 production date. The exact year and model have not been independently authenticated.

This instrument features attractive figured wood grain on the back, a bound body, rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays, original-style tuners, and a vintage Gibson tailpiece.
