This beautiful A-style mandolin captures the essence of classic folk and bluegrass instruments from the early-20th century. With its iconic all Mahogany A-frame construction, tortoiseshell pickguard, Ebony fretboard and bridge, and open geared tuners, this gem is an all-American classic.

Inside of this instrument it is stamped with either 11569 or 11509, indicating that this would be a 1924 Martin A-frame mandolin. Other indicators would be the flat body construction and solid headstock, as they phased the bowl body and slotted headstock out years before.

Crack repairs have been professionally completed, which are structurally sound and cosmetically minimal.

This is a used mandolin and does show some signs of slight use, but has been fully tested and functions as expected. Please take a moment to review our pictures, as they accurately portray the true condition of this mandolin.
