This subwoofer is in fair condition. Our 8-point functional test was completed in full: all checks passed except no rattle. Note: The unit is in working order; however, when the volume is pushed, the audio begins to break up and crackle. Cosmetically, the unit shows signs of use, with discolouration and surface marks throughout. Please review all photos carefully, as they provide an accurate representation of the cosmetic condition of the product.

The Yamaha YST-MSW10 is a compact active subwoofer built around Yamaha's Active Servo Processing (YST) technology, which uses a feedback loop between the amplifier and driver to reduce distortion and extend low-frequency performance. It houses a magnetically shielded 6.3-inch (160mm) cone woofer powered by a 25-watt amplifier, covering a frequency range down into the deep bass region. A convenient auto power on/off function allows the unit to switch itself off when no input signal is detected, making it practical for desktop or home theatre setups. It accepts both line-level and speaker-level inputs, connecting via subwoofer cable to an AV receiver or stereo system.
