1985 Tama Imperialstar 6-Piece Drum Set – Midnight Blue – Stewart Copeland configuration

Original owner – purchased new in 1985

I'm selling my 1985 Tama Imperialstar 6-piece drum set in Midnight Blue, the Stewart Copeland configuration.

I purchased this set new in 1985 and have been its only owner. I played it on gigs for a few years, so it has some minor scratches and normal signs of use. Overall, it's in good condition for its age, although it would benefit from a thorough cleaning and replacement drumheads.

All of the drums and included hardware listed below are from the original Tama set.

Condition & Originality

• All drum shells are original and unmodified.
• All included hardware is original to the set, with no bent, damaged, or replaced hardware.
• The original Midnight Blue finish has no fading or bubbling.
• The snare drum functions properly, including the throw-off mechanism.
• The original drumheads are no longer installed; the kit will need new heads.

• 14" x 22" bass drum (including both hoops and all hardware)
• 8" x 10" tom
• 8" x 12" tom
• 9" x 13" tom
• 16" x 16" floor tom
• 14" x 5" snare drum (Powerline 8065)
• 1 Cymbal stand w/ extra tom mount
• Bass Drum tom mount
• Snare drum stand

Important note: The front bass drum hoop and hardware are not pictured, but they are included. The front bass drum head is missing.

Not included - everything else in the pictures :)

• Other cymbal stands
• Microphone stands and mics
• Cymbals
• Bass drum pedals (I don't have the original anymore)
• High hat stand (I don't have the original anymore)
