Epiphone 50th Anniversary 1961 Casino E230TDV Vintage Sunburst, Hard Case – Used

The Epiphone Limited Edition 50th Anniversary 1961 Casino E230TDV in Vintage Sunburst is a detailed recreation of the original first-year Casino, combining fully hollow construction, genuine Gibson USA P-90 pickups and an Epiphone Tremotone vibrato.

Produced as part of Epiphone’s limited 50th Anniversary run, this model features a number of distinctive 1961-inspired details including the short-style headstock, metal Epiphone badge, dot fingerboard inlays, tortoiseshell pickguard and black dog-ear P-90 covers.

This example is presented in Very Good Condition, with some light cosmetic wear and slight tarnishing to the hardware from previous use.

All hardware and electronics are original.

A hardcase is included.

Fully Hollow Construction

Unlike a semi-hollow ES-335-style guitar, the Casino is fully hollow, giving it a lively and resonant response.

Expect:

• Open clean tones

• Strong midrange character

• Excellent dynamics

• Natural acoustic resonance

• Great interaction with overdrive

• Controlled feedback possibilities at higher volume

Gibson USA P-90 Pickups

The 50th Anniversary Casino is fitted with genuine Gibson USA P-90R and P-90T pickups.

These provide:

• Clear attack

• Strong midrange presence

• Warm neck tones

• Biting bridge sounds

• Excellent articulation

• Classic P-90 response with overdrive

The neck pickup is particularly suited to warmer blues and jazz tones, while the bridge provides plenty of cut for rock ’n’ roll, indie and alternative styles.

Tremotone Vibrato

The Epiphone Tremotone vibrato is a defining feature of the E230TDV version.

It provides smooth vintage-style pitch movement for:

• Chord shimmer

• Subtle vibrato

• Rock ’n’ roll

• Psychedelic textures

• Surf-inspired effects

• Atmospheric playing
