The Taylor 50th Anniversary Builder's Edition 314ce LTD, Kona Burst is ideal for guitarists after premium playability, balanced tone and standout aesthetic.

Its Urban Ash back and sides offer the midrange richness of mahogany, while the Sitka spruce top brings out clarity, warmth and punch – perfect for everything from strumming to fingerstyle. A bevelled cutaway and chamfered edges make this model incredibly comfortable to hold and play for extended sessions. The Curve Wing bridge design keeps wrist strain down, letting you focus entirely on your playing.

With Taylor’s Expression System 2 onboard, your tone stays full and expressive when amplified. Finished in a rich Kona Burst with antique gold hardware and firestripe pickguard, it offers serious visual appeal too.

Designed for comfortable, extended playing
Every detail on the Builder’s Edition 314ce is built with comfort in mind. The bevelled armrest and cutaway give your picking hand and forearm a natural resting position, reducing fatigue. Chamfered edges throughout the body eliminate harsh lines that can dig in during long playing sessions. Even the bridge is shaped for ease, with Taylor’s contoured Curve Wing design supporting a more ergonomic wrist angle. Whether on stage, in the studio or practising at home, this design keeps things feeling smooth and easy.

Reliable, responsive tonewoods
The solid Sitka spruce top gives this guitar the versatility to handle different playing styles, from soft fingerpicking to heavy strumming. Urban Ash back and sides, responsibly sourced from Southern California, offer a strong midrange and tonal balance similar to Honduran mahogany. Together, they deliver warmth, clarity and presence across the frequency range, so your playing comes through cleanly, both acoustically and amplified.

Stage-ready electronics
Equipped with Taylor’s Expression System 2, this model ensures your tone stays natural and dynamic when plugged in. The behind-the-saddle pickup design captures more nuance and detail than traditional systems, letting your technique and the guitar’s acoustic character come through clearly. Whether you're recording directly or playing live, you get consistency and clarity with minimal setup.

Premium, limited-edition touches
This 50th Anniversary edition comes with standout visual and tactile features that set it apart. The Kona Burst finish adds a deep, vintage-inspired character, while the firestripe pickguard, faux pearl compass inlays and gold-accented ebony bridge pins add subtle elegance. Gotoh 510 tuners offer smooth, accurate tuning with a high-ratio gear design.
