A cutaway model featuring a striking, asymmetrical “S-shape” body with a 13th-fret joint. It’s particularly interesting that the deep cutaway allows for smoother access to the higher frets, and the 13th-fret joint and S-shape were incorporated to compensate for any sound loss resulting from this design. It’s a superb design that delivers the depth of the open 6th string and beautiful tone, while maintaining rich sustain all the way up to the high positions of the 1st string without any loss of tone.

The “Low Profile Velocity” slim neck profile, the bold heel-less design, and the newly developed “Sure Align Neck System”—a patent-pending system that allows for custom adjustment of the neck angle—are also impressive. This innovative joint structure enables adjustments to the neck angle and pitch to compensate for wood movement caused by seasonal and environmental changes, making this a model truly built for the modern player. A peek inside the soundhole reveals X-bracing on the back. Here, too, you can see a design that balances strength and sound, and the label features a unique design modeled after a vinyl record label.
