Sonoris DDP Creator Pro CD Mastering and DDP Authoring (Card)

DDP Creator builds and edits DDP images, the format a mastering engineer actually delivers a CD master in. It handles the whole job: assembling the tracks, setting the gaps and indexes, writing CD-Text, ISRC and MCN, and exporting a verified image the plant can cut from.

The Pro version adds the things a working mastering room runs into. Loudness measurement and normalisation to ITU-R BS.1770-2 and EBU R128 are built in, so a set of tracks can be brought to a target inside the same tool that authors the master.

It can also edit the CD-Text, ISRC or MCN of an existing DDP without rewriting the image file, which turns a metadata correction from a re-render into an edit. Pro additionally unlocks full Enhanced CD DDP support, so Enhanced CD filesets and discs can be opened and exported, and a data session can be added to an existing DDP fileset.

Two further Pro features matter in practice: 24 and 32 bit files can be imported, and vinyl mastering mode splits a project into side A and side B as soon as you nominate a track as the start of side B, bringing up a stereo phase correlation meter to catch problems before the cutting stage.
