The Mixing Bundle is the seven FabFilter plug-ins a mix engineer reaches for, without the mastering-specific tools. FabFilter price the contents at $1,293.00 bought separately, against $729.00 together.

It is built around the four that do most of the work: Pro-Q 4 for equalization, Pro-C 3 for compression, Pro-R 2 for reverb and Pro-DS for de-essing, with Pro-G covering gating and expansion.

Saturn 2 and Timeless 3 are the two that stop it being purely corrective. Saturn 2 is multiband distortion and saturation, useful anywhere a source needs weight rather than level, and Timeless 3 is a vintage tape delay with deep modulation.

What it leaves out is Pro-L 2, the true peak limiter, and Pro-MB, the multiband dynamics processor. Those sit in the FX and Mastering bundles. If limiting matters to you, price the FX Bundle before this one.
