I would personally say the condition is very good, but the electronics are a little scratchy, and we don't want to mess with them as they are all original Rick-O-Sound electronics. We do not know the exact history, and we cannot truly say there has been one owner but the original customer said their father has had it since the 80's. We originally thought this was a 4001, indicated by the trussrod cover, however thanks to the help of some others, we have come to the conclusion that the cover was just replaced with one from a 4001.
Please reach out if you have any further questions.
