The Firefly FFDCD Solid Body Electric Guitar in Transparent Red is a double-cutaway, 6-string electric guitar styled after classic 1960s dual-P90 models.
Core Specifications
- Body and Neck: Solid mahogany body and set-in neck.
- Pickups: Dual FF90 P-90 style single-coil pickups with individual volume and tone controls.
- Bridge: Tune-o-matic bridge with a stop tailpiece.
Overview and Performance
- Design: Features a transparent red finish that showcases the wood grain, a double-cutaway body for upper-fret access, and an arm cut on the body.
- Sound and Playability: Reviewers note that the P-90 pickups deliver a punchy, clear tone suitable for the price point, though the middle pickup position can sometimes feel unbalanced due to output differences between the neck and bridge.
