Ludwig Standard Series 5x14” Blue Strata Snare. (68-’74)..
This drum was used by the NYC BD OF ED..MFG Feb 25, 1971.
The beautiful blue strata wrap is in excellent condition very tight and no marks or scratches at all to mention just on the badge. Granitone interior.
As you noticed there are no ser#’s which is a rare thing but definitely has been documented on these and other Ludwig drums during this time period.
Everything functions as it should and I believe is all original except wires and heads? Bearing edges in great shape. Great sounding drum may want to change out batter head.
The only thing I would mention is that the top hoop can use some TLC..rust as can be seen in pictures, I do think it can be removed with a good cleaning.
