The PCH is a stereo active direct interface with a built-in headphone amplifier. It takes left and right 1/4" unbalanced inputs and provides balanced XLR outputs (switchable mic/line level) alongside 1/4" unbalanced thru outputs on both channels, so a pedalboard can be sent to a PA or interface while still feeding an amp or monitoring rig.
A 3.5mm headphone output with its own level control, a ground lift switch on the XLR outputs and a Sum switch for mono/stereo thru routing round out the feature set. It runs from a 9VDC supply and is designed and built in the USA.
Strymon markets the PCH as the only direct box that combines a transparent stereo DI with an integrated console-quality headphone amplifier, aimed at handling high-output pedalboard signals without clipping while giving players a way to monitor their rig directly from the DI.
