Great rat style pedal with a knob to select from a variety of styles/mods (see below for more details on that). Also the LED lights up the eye!

Works great, looks amazing, just not using it enough to justify keeping it.

The Plague Doctor!

In 1346 a mysterious illness swept across Eurasia, North Africa, and Europe. Peaking in 1347 through 1351, causing deaths of anywhere from 75-200 million people.

It was the bubonic plague. And only one kind of person figured out what to do, and could do it.

Enter the Plague Doctor.

So here we have a distortion pedal, seeking to rid the world of disease ridden vermin, with a 6-way rotary to change the clipping diodes. The first three selections are of three different versions of a beloved distortion pedal that drives, distorts, a fuzzes. The fourth selection is a popular mod done to said pedal, and the fifth and sixth spots are some personal favorite.

The clipping selections are (L to R)

1. "Stock" (2x 4148 diodes)
2. "Turbo" (2x LEDs)
3. "Dirty" (2x Germanium diodes)
4. "Mod" (2x 4001 diodes)
5. UBP 1 (4148 into LED)
6. UBP 2 (Germanium into LED)

So all in all, a pretty versatile pedal, it also sounds pretty good with the gain down lower, more overdrive-like.

So, if you didn't know, the Bubonic Plague was caused by rat infestations, and the rats spreading the disease and causing many deaths. Thus, this is a Rat clone.

Also, for those who've never had a Rat before, the Filter (Tone) knob works backwards. Brighter sounds are found with the knob all the way down, and darken as you turn up.
