Squier Affinity Telecaster Body modded to fit neck humbucker!

Modified/upgraded Squier Affinity Telecaster body, Olympic White finish.

Fully-loaded Olympic White Squier Telecaster body in excellent condition. Humbucker in the neck position gives it that coveted Keef vibe. Finish is in immaculate condition. The strat-style tummy cut is a feature unique to the Squier Affinity lineup that lends added comfort.

About the only remaining piece of original electronics is the imported 3-way switch. Everything else has been swapped out (see below) with the goal of turning this humble Telecaster into a rock n roll beast, allowing it to drive the front end of an amp while still retaining the a good bit of the signature bridge p/u twang that Telecasters are known for. The upgrades are as follows...

• Neck p/u: High quality Korean-made Alnico ii, '57 humbucker has a smoky warmth that works well for blues.
• Bridge p/u: Very hotly wound (10k-ohm DC resistance) Alnico ii TL single coil from the same producer has lots of twang, snap and bark for lead lines but can also be reigned in by backing off the tone knob if you want a bit more warmth.
• A500k Volume and Tone pots.
• Volume pot has Treble Bleed in the circuit (150k-ohm resistor, .001uF cap)
• Tone pot has .0022uF cap.
• 470k-ohm resistor is wired in between volume pot and the bridge lug on the switch so that the bridge p/u only "sees" ~250k-ohm load, thus curtailing any "ice pickiness" from the single coil at the bridge.
