Its solid mahogany body and maple cap give it a balanced foundation with plenty of warmth, clarity, and punch, while the extensive multi-ply binding and bound ebony fingerboard deliver the refined look that has defined the Custom since the 1950s. A one-piece mahogany neck with a comfortable Modern Medium C profile and long neck tenon gives the guitar a substantial but approachable feel, with 22 medium jumbo frets and mother-of-pearl block inlays completing the classic presentation.

Plugged in, this Les Paul Custom has the kind of versatile humbucker voice that can move effortlessly from thick, sustaining rhythm tones to powerful lead sounds. The USA-made Gibson 490R and 498T pickups bring plenty of clarity and authority, with individual volume and tone controls giving you room to shape each pickup to your rig.
