Some folks call this the Diezel, Mesa, or Soldano mod, I don't think it really sounds like any of these.
What I do think it sounds like is a cranked solid state amp to get you that 90s-00s death metal sound.
Louder than the classic MT-2 with a more usable EQ and tighter distortion. You can use it to get HM-2-ish sounds if you dial it in just right.
There is a quick video that demos how this sounds in comparison with the classic MT-2 in the listing at the end of the photos.
