Ibanez Silver Series Hybrid P/J Bass 1977 - Sunburst

This 1977 Silver Series Hybrid P/J bass is a rare Ibanez bass combining Jazz and Precision style pickups and a 3 way pickup selector to toggle between either or both. Ibanez created it at the height of the MIJ copy lawsuit era although Fender never offered one. Ibanez only made it for 3 years 1976 to 78, then made the P/J toggle switch configuration on their Roadster and Roadstar and subsequent models going forward. This bass has some blemishes being that it's nearly 50 years old but sounds and plays great. I bought it used years ago and replaced the aftermarket bridge it had at the time with a hipshot bridge (installed professionally). Bass will securely ship in a Road Runner case (pictured).
