Ibanez Q54 — Black Flat
A compact, lightweight headless solidbody from Ibanez's Q Series — built from the ground up around ergonomics and travel-friendly size, at just under 80cm total length. Comes with a small ding on the headstock face; otherwise clean.
Body
Nyatoh body, ergonomic contoured shape front and back for comfort, matte black finish.
Neck
3-piece roasted maple/bubinga Wizard C neck, bolt-on, satin polyurethane finish for a fast, low-drag feel. Roasted birdseye maple fingerboard, mother-of-pearl step off-set dot inlays, luminescent side dots for visibility on dark stages. 25.5" scale, 12" fingerboard radius, 24 Jescar EvoGold frets, 1.65" (42mm) nut width.
Pickups & Electronics
HSS configuration — two Ibanez R1 single coils (neck, middle) plus a Q58 humbucker (bridge), all passive/ceramic, custom-designed specifically for this headless platform. Volume, tone, 5-way switch plus a 2-way Alter mini-switch forming the dyna-MIX9 system — 9 distinct pickup combinations, including switching between humbucker and single-coil modes.
Hardware
Individually mounted Ibanez Mono-Tune bridges — fixed (no tremolo), with a wide intonation range that makes the Q54 easy to set up for drop tunings. Cosmo Black hardware throughout.
Weight/Size
Notably light and compact — one of the smaller footprints in Ibanez's lineup, a direct benefit of the headless design.
