This set was purchased new in late 2024 here at Atlanta Drum Shop and the owner has elected to pick up a set of Sonor Vintage shells, which are also amazing. These drums are the SQ1 7MM Birch shell layup in sizes 22x18 / 12x8 /14x13 / 16x15 with the 14" and 16" toms being floor toms, as pictured.
If you're not familiar, these drums sound incredible and the punch/attack of Birch with 45-degree edges is marvelous. German quality is built into everything; the Sound Sustainer tom mount completely isolates the resonant tom shell from the mount. It's amazing to behold and hear. The drums' owner upgraded the heads to coated G2 and an EMAD on the bass drum, as pictured.
The drums are in VG to Excellent condition with minute blemishes in the lacquer which are difficult to picture. On the 16" there appears to be a vertical crack in the lacquer, which we tried to capture in the last picture.
