Arturia FX Collection 6 PRO 39 Studio Effects Plug-In Suite (Card)

THIS IS FX COLLECTION 6 PRO, THE FULL 39 EFFECT SUITE. Arturia sell FX Collection 6 in two versions and they are very different things: PRO has 39 effects and over 1,500 presets, while INTRO has 6 effects and sells for $99. This card is the Pro version. If you only want the six effect starter set, buy Intro instead and save yourself four hundred dollars.

Pro is Arturia's complete effects library, and it is built around their True Analog Emulation modelling, the same technology behind the V Collection instruments. The bulk of it is careful recreations of specific studio hardware, organised by what you actually reach for.

Preamps and EQs: Pre 1973, Pre TRIDA, Pre V76 and EQ SITRAL-295. Compressors: Comp DIODE-609, Comp VCA-65, Comp TUBE-STA and Comp FET-76. Reverbs: Rev PLATE-140, Rev LX-24, Rev INTENSITY and Rev SPRING-636. Delays: Delay TAPE-201, Delay BRIGADE and Delay ETERNITY. Filters: the MS-20, Mini, M12 and SEM filters. Modulation: Rotary CLS-222, Chorus JUN-6, Chorus DIMENSION-D, Phase BI-TRON and Flanger BL-20.

Alongside the emulations sit Arturia's own modern engines. The Creative series covers Efx MOTIONS, Efx FRAGMENTS, Efx AMBIENT and Efx REFRACT. The bus and master tools are Bus TRANSIENT, Bus PEAK, Bus EXCITER-104 and Bus FORCE. Saturation comes from Dist COLDFIRE, Dist TUBE-CULTURE and Dist OPAMP-21, and the tape effects are Tape MELLO-FI and Tape J-37.

Version 6 adds five new effects, and all five are in Pro: Tape J-37, a tube driven tape effect; Mix DRUMS, a drum processor; Bus TRANSIENT, a transient shaper; Efx AMBIENT, for turning any source into ambience; and Pitch SHIFTER-910, a modern take on a legendary pitch processor. Intro includes only one of the five.

Every effect runs as VST, VST3, AU or AAX, all are NKS ready and Apple Silicon compatible, with resizable high resolution interfaces, a preset browser, in-app tutorials and 1,500 or more presets carrying sound designer notes.
