D16 Group SilverLine Collection 10 Effect Plug-In Bundle (Card)

The SilverLine Collection is D16 Group's complete effects bundle: TEN PLUG-INS covering reverb, delay, chorus, flanger, phaser, distortion, tube saturation, bit crushing and multi-effect modulation. D16 also sell these individually, and the collection is how you get all ten at once.

D16 built their reputation on modelling specific analogue circuits rather than producing generic effects, and that shows in this set. Syntorus 2 is a triple delay line chorus built on a careful model of a high quality analogue bucket brigade delay. Antresol is a stompbox flanger rebuilt in detail. Redoptor 2 is a distortion with an emulation of a tube's circuitry. Decimort 2 is a bit crusher that simulates the whole sampling path of a real analogue to digital and digital to analogue converter, which is why it sounds like old hardware samplers instead of simple bit reduction.

The other half of the set is more modern. Toraverb 2 is a concept algorithm reverb designed to let you build practically any type of reverb rather than pick from a list. Tekturon is a tap delay with 16 independent delay lines arranged as a sequence, so using it feels closer to a step sequencer than a delay. Godfazer combines chorus, phasing, filtering and rotary speaker emulation into one modulation device. Spacerek is the deliberately simple one, a compact reverb that gets you a convincing real space without a page of parameters.

Devastor 2 is worth calling out for where it came from: it is a multiband distortion unit built out of the distortion stage from D16's Phoscyon synthesiser, with fully adjustable filters. Fazortan 2 completes the set as a classic phaser done with D16's analogue modelling.

PLEASE BE CLEAR ON WHAT THIS IS AND IS NOT. THE SILVERLINE COLLECTION IS EFFECTS ONLY. D16's vintage instrument emulations, such as Phoscyon, Nepheton and Drumazon, are a separate product called the Classic Boxes Collection, and D16's Total Bundle is the one that contains everything including the Lush 2 synthesiser. Neither of those is included here.
