This limited-edition PRS Silver Sky Defender Color Collection draws its inspiration from John Mayer’s own Arles Blue Defender, translating the character of classic automotive colors into four distinctive Silver Sky finishes. The collection includes Arles Blue, Willow Green, Portofino Red, and Sandglow Yellow, each paired with a matching painted headstock.
Production is limited to just 500 guitars in each color, with 2,000 total worldwide. Each guitar features a unique neck plate inscribed with its color name and “1 of 500,” and includes a PRS ATA molded case with a custom Defender badge. Beneath the limited-edition treatment is the familiar Silver Sky platform developed by John Mayer and PRS, with an alder body, 635 JM-R maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, and three 635JM pickups.
