Vintage dbx Model 1BX Dynamic Range Expander in very good working condition.
Fully tested and functioning properly. Controls, switches and LED gain-change display are working as they should.
This is the original large-format 1BX with wood side panels, brushed aluminum trim and the classic 10-LED gain-change display. The 1BX was designed to increase the perceived dynamic range of recorded material and features adjustable expansion and transition level controls, along with tape/preamp routing.
Cosmetically, the unit is in very good vintage condition with normal signs of age and use. The wood side panels present nicely and the front panel, lettering and controls are clean. There are some scratches/scuffs on the top cover and other minor age-related wear. Please review all photos for exact cosmetic condition.
