1977 Music Man StingRay Bass – Natural – One Owner – All Original – Original Hardshell Case

I purchased this Music Man StingRay brand new in 1977 and have been its only owner for nearly 50 years.

This is an all-original, unmodified pre-Ernie Ball StingRay, serial number B0007132. The bass retains its original natural finish, pickup, active electronics/preamp, controls, tuners, bridge, pickguard, knobs and hardware.

It also includes the original hardshell case that came with the bass when I purchased it new.

The bass weighs approximately 11 lb.

This instrument has been exceptionally well preserved for its age. It shows normal minor age-related wear and hardware patina, all of which is documented in the photographs. It has never been refinished or modified.

The natural-finish body has beautiful grain, complemented by the maple neck and fingerboard.
