Up for sale is a late 30s-40s Rickenbacker double 8 lap steel. This is a very early version with only volume and tone shared between the two pickups. The inside cavity had the number 22 painted on the inside cover and body. The bad news is that the upper pickup is missing and its neck was damaged and repaired at some point. The neck is now stable, looks good and usable. The good news is that the lower neck and pickup are fully original including the pots and capacitor. This neck sounds absolutely fabulous. fYI, Jason Lollar sells a drop in replacement pickup for this. There is no case for this one. Let me know if you have any questions.
