If you take things seriously, maybe it's time to invest into some serious patchbay, and good thing here is that most of the wiring work is done, and by a pro company.(removed from a recent post production studio).

It comes with a loom made of several multi-leads cable ( some 8 symetrical cables, some 4, some 2) for a total of 60 symetrical leads soldered to the back of the patchbay. length is mostly around 2,50 meters, two cut shorter at 1,5 meters, a few at 2 meters.

Basically a totally usable loom if you have your machines gathered around in a rack, and the fact that it's made if independent multis will make access to the various machines easier. One can go to the right, the other to the left, one other below the patch etc.

This Neutrik model is pretty high end with gold plated contacts and the work time already spended in cabling those would cost around the same price.

If you already had to have a studio cabled you know that it's incompressible time there and that this investment is unavoidable.

It comes from a post production studio for which it was custom made, so that's quality soldering, not a shaky hand at work
