Player is in good used condition, having been cleaned and tested by myself personally. This unit was a bit finicky when I first acquired it, but after taking it apart and cleaning the reading mechanism, as well as changing one of the loading belts, it seems to be running well. It accepts tapes smoothly, and is able to play them without any abnormal incongruities to the picture or sound. I’ve noticed that fast forward and rewind can sometimes be labored, but seems to work alright when you stop the tape before actually initiating those actions. All buttons along the face are appropriately responsive to their designated action, display screen shines brightly when the unit is on and running, and power chord is void of any tears or frays along the lunch of the cable. 

Player is in decent shape cosmetically, showing only some signs of age-related wear around the exterior. No notable points of damage inflicted along any edge or face of the units metal housing or front display.
